2003 was an incredible year for Silver Spring and for "Silver Spring: Story of an American Suburb." The documentary has been broadcast repeatedly on WETA TV and screened several times at the AFI Silver Theater. National Geographic featured the program as part of its Tuesdays at Noon film series. We garnered two Emmy nominations, one for producing and one for editing. Meanwhile, downtown Silver Spring itself continued its amazing transformation from ghost town to revitalized suburban center. New stores, restaurants, and theaters opened - with many more to come. There is more foot traffic and a feeling of energy in the air.

I would like to thank everyone in the community for their encouragement and support of this film. We're grateful to WETA for giving us a platform, and to the AFI/Silver Theater for providing a venue for so many groups to screen the documentary.

Home video sales continue at a healthy pace, including our newly released DVD version. As you visit our Ordering page, please note that the 4-6 week delivery window is a maximum. If you require expedited service, please let us know via email at FinalCutTV@aol.com.

Here's hoping for a great 2004 for Silver Spring, and for all of us!
